I actually like the cranes in this one. They look like giant fishing poles. The darkness suits this scene.
I like the angle you chose to present the ship.
Good, straightforward post Rob.

Sorry, Rob. As the king of manipulatory skills, you have me flummoxed. When you say that this is a Paint.net manipulation, I'm not sure I'm seeing a manipulation. That's a credit to your skills. But are we talking about dropping in a different sky, adding some colors or taking your headless swan and turning it into this ship?

This is what I would call the prototypical Rob shot of Rotterdam's harbor area. It's dirty and gritty and with your characteristically bleak sky. Occasionally you charm us with a sunny day and some of those beautiful architectural shots along the canals, but this THE Rob shot for me. Love the perspective and the composition and the occasional splash of red and blue.

I like the texture of the water and the mood of an impending storm. The bright red hull really stands out. Nice job, Rob!

I have to agree with Roger. I haven't a clue what you did that constitutes manipulation. However, magicians don't tell their secrets, either :-).
