Nature will have its way with everything one day, I suppose. I almost didn't see the bicycle, Rob. So many stories could be drawn from this image. You have a good eye and took a fine shot of this poor forgotten rider. I like it a lot.
What a great shot, Rob. Personally I would have cloned out that bright yellow pot in the upper right to emphasize how the bike and the ivy are the only two things in the area and that the bike is getting eaten. I assume that this is offset to the right because if you moved your shot and panned even further right, there was even more stuff you would have had to clone out.
The shot reminds me of "Tree" which was engulfed by the building. In this case Mother Nature is going to win.
You have a remarkable eye for finding the strangeness of our planet.
Nature always finds a way, doesn't it? This bike is one of its victims apparently, but where is his owner? lol :) A very unique capture; It's really interesting what strange things we can encounter, and how lucky we are to have cameras to capture them and share them.
Wow this is very artistic looking and very cleaver shot too.The bike looks like it is trying to pull free and is almost there. The detail is spot on and lice composition too.
Time to cut back on the fertilizer and maybe co a little pruning. A nicely composed and presented scene, Rob. Lovely warm lighting and nice details in the photo.
