That iron oxide likes to spread itself around. You should get a dog and name him Blacksmith, because as I was told by another Caedesian, he had a dog named Blacksmith and every time he kicked his butt, the dog would make a bolt for the door. I know, not funny, right? Anyway, Rob, there's a lot of great detail in your very interesting and nicely composed shot.

Absolutely perfect, Rob. Probably the best rust shot I've ever seen. To me rust and old wooden textures are the height of art. As far as I'm concerned, they should have a special category for rust shots. Actually there should be a rust museum featuring the original of this photo hanging in its own room. Just imagine the thrill of visiting the Darth Vader Memorial Museum of Fine Rust. Beautiful details, color and texture in the wood and the bolt. A solid 9 when I see this in the VB later. Plus you are hereby awarded a fave and two ataboys.
