Is that a typographical error in the Title, Rob, or were you recently released from Elba, and it's an honest mistake :-). I like it better as a vertical, just showing the pilings all the way back, and mainly the two black ships.
I thought we were going to see Napoleon returning in this photo. Unless he is a stow-away aboard the Elbe, I can't find him anywhere within this photo. An interesting lighting effect and good angle in this photo.
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
Great angle you took the shot from and the detail lovely and sharp too.But a little to bright I had to put my sunglasses on,but still very nice composition photo my friend.
When I saw the title "Elbe" I figured that with your Dutch accent, I naturally assumed that I was going to see a posting of your elbow. Imagine my surprise when I saw this glorious shot of The Elbe, a ship in the harbor. Viewing your postings is like watching a magician pull a brontosaurus out of a hat. You make it look so easy, and your manipulations are thrilling adventures.
I would have thought about cropping out some of that hooey on the left and concentrated more on the ships. Other than that, your shot has a fascinating perspective and some fine post photo work.
