This is where pom poms come from, the one's like the cheerleaders use, esp where the team colors are red.

A bit of Contrast will give a bit more separation between the colours and the reflected light on the strands, Rob.

It's a Japanese Laceleaf Maple. Vibrant color such as this and lacy leaves are typical with color varietiations ranging from green, to red to, deep maroon. ...Ed
