"Rob, Just wondering, did you paint the horse or did you use some other technique? Can you tell me?"
Hi Carol course I can tell would be my honor. The work was done in Paint.net (its a no nag freeware program there are some very good plugin packs but the selective color can be done with the basic program).....open the image wich makes it layer 1 copy layer one and create a new layer wich is number 2 then make in the selection mode layer to B&W now you can go to layer 1 with the rectangle selection tool frame in this case the head invert the selection then cut and deselect you will see that 95% of the image is B&W now use the ereaser tool to remove the last of the unwanted color flatten then resize and check your file format. Sounds hard if you don't work in layers easy if you do but working in layers really makes things a hunderd times easyer its worth the effort I assure you.
