Well this big hunk of halfround cement can be found on the seaway nearby Rozenburg to get idea of the size about 20 meter wide and lets say 30 meters high Moon and sky were layered in.
Only a half round? I thought you had fallen into a smoke stack or something. Thanks for your best narrative to date. Helps me understand what I'm seeing, as it's not always clear in some of your images. Excellent job dropping in the sky. When I try such shenanigans, there's always a white line or some telltale indication that I've been trying to fool Mother Nature. Your post photo work and skills with manipulation never cease to amaze me, Rob. And I'll bet that if you look under the "Skies" category, you'll see nothing else even remotely as original as this image.
Love your use of light and dark contrast. The focus is sharp to detect the texture in the concrete. Love those wispy clouds. By far the most original moon shot in a very long time. Faves in appreciation of how your mind works.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
