Trash Art are recycled pictures of photos I have taken in Rotterdam buildings, street art, flowers, trees and brickwork and any thing that I can see from street level grinding and pounding them into what I call Trash Art.
Very thought provoking ,this art work as you stairing for some time with the split.Love the different colour tone in both half's of her face and the lock door to her soul adds a great effect to this stunning piece of art work,it as you asking who are you?I also love the light that shines with in her eyes too.Rob the more you look into this piece the more your mind sees, like one half of her is happy and the other so sad and broken.
I see a young woman, .. a girl. And she is about to discover a whole new world. It's a little scary world, and she wants to return to childhood .. but it is not possible .This is what is coming to my mind.A Top Notch art work,Rob.
A very avant-garde piece of art here Rob! She is quite stunning in her simplicity. She appears to be two different personalities, one who is at times, comfortable with herself as a natural beauty and, at the same time, also one who is afraid that her natural beauty is not good enough for others. I guess, to me, the padlock may signify being locked into this internal conflict. Either way, amazing detail, nice, subtle tones and brilliant color. It's possible that your work speaks volumes to more people than you think it does. Excellent Trashing my friend:)
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
