April 14th 2013 Rotterdam Marathon well know that sports shoes have come a long way but never new you could run on Air. The Rotterdam Marathon is also seen as the start of spring. Also Spring means jump in the Dutch language so instead of posting the usual spring time scenes I though I would go with this picture taken on a lovely spring day.

An excellent motion capture so full of vibrant color and emotion. It's very cool how neither man is touching the ground at the same time! I wonder if this will be your entry in the "Signs of Spring" contest. If so, I can't think of a better entry! You always surprise me Rob, and always in the best way!

Spend a few minutes each day being grateful for what you have and who you have to share it with.
The guy in front seems to be very happy... he's either in the lead or 2nd to last. It's hard to say. I'll need more info.

I'm delighted to see an action shot from the master-manipulator. I know that you're posting this mostly for fun rather than as a work of photographic art to be critiqued; so I'll forget the comments about composition and color. Before my knees died, I ran marathons. Of course, I ran at around half the speed these guys are going. Typically they average maybe 4:50 a mile. I averaged maybe 8 minute miles at best. No doubt the first guy is from Kenya and the second is from Ethiopia. The Rotterdam Marathon is being repeated over and over again on TV. Do you know near what mile marker you were located? What were you wearing? Did you have your shape-shifter switched on or were you there as a Xenon? I'll look for you.
