Trash Art are recycled pictures I have taken in Rotterdam buildings, street art, flowers, trees, brickwork and anything else at street level grinding and pounding them into what I call Trash Art. This one is for a friend for his insightful comments and PMs of late. This is a twist from me on one of his comments on a posting of mine a while back ..."if its to bright you can turn off the light!".... gave me a big grin and a chuckle while writing this hope the same for him. And a big thanks to all my other Caedes friends.

I'm seeing your work in a whole new light Rob! Ha! I like this a lot. I like the dim glow from the bulb and the detail inside of it. The barely lit background really pulls the focus to the subject, although I can see some great texture back there. This reminds me of every scary old basement I've ever been in, especially in the really old houses and I've lived in quite a few of those! Keep up the great work my friend.

Hi, Rob...

I was talking to Mr. and Mrs. Caedes just the other day, and they made a comment that I thought I should pass onto you. They said, "This is called Caedes Desktop Wallpaper. Why does that dork from Rotterdam always post in portrait mode?" I quickly came to your defense and explained that you weren't really from Rotterdam. I explained that your were an extraterrestrial from the planet Xenon in the galaxy of Burnttoast." They nodded knowingly and seemed to understand.

This is yet another amazing image. Beautiful work with the light and dark contrast. Although the subject is centered I can't fault your composition. The heavy beam on the right is a perfect counterbalance to the old bulb.
