Rather different from your recent postings we've got used to, Rob, but nevertheless beautiful as well. It's rather early, but your excellent creation brings us already in the proper Christmas mood, so that the most wonderful time of the year is extended somewhat. PS: I didn't scan the QR-code with my smartphone for the simple reason I don't have one (yet). Don't exclude however that's an attempt for kidding us, lol

I love this and it great to see some think different for Christmas and I love how you played with B&W and colours too.Great detail and nice different angle on the Christmas theme to with stunning light shine and composition as well.
Selective colour ! Good as it is definitely too early for us, simple Europeans to start decorating X-mas trees LOL Fine work, I like its sombre appeal. No promises. Not too optimistic - all are best merits when I say so. HOWGH. Eeyore using screen name of SAM + Piglit using name of famous SAAB or Boris
Not only an interesting collage for the spot-color contest theme but a unique holiday image as well. I like the inclusion of the moon, making it more than an ornament macro. Good luck in the contest. -Nik

A jolly image Rob. Good details, textures and clarity in the photo. A good job with the selective colouring. You did miss a spot just above the child's arm that should be red.
