Like much of your work, I find both the female and male subjects to be in a deep, pensive mood..thinking of something they did or something they fear. 0361 likewise, falls into this category. The textures, an exterior layer of broken away masonry, artistically frames this sadden subject who appears to have been disfugured with acid or was trapped in a fire.
This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By. Thanks For Sharing ! Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
Rob, this artwork is more complex to me. I'm still guessing what kind of mood you like to express with this one. Is it tragedy, pain, hurt or something like that or is it just hope and expectation? I think that even she can't give the answer because she still seems to be in a pensive mood.
Thanks for another fine artwork and thanks too for keeping my brain vivid.

I really like this, though I'd clean up some of the white specks. They tend to counteract against the interesting fringing to the left. Of course,I'd have to do it for myself to be sure of any improvement, and it's always a matter of personal taste and opinion.
Perfect choice of colors, contrasts, textures. I find the outline of the white texture to be a plus for this art work. It attracts the viewer more because of the contrast. I especially find the glance downward to be of great interest. This is thinking mode and stirs the imagination. The dark shading is exactly where it should be. Fantastic image.
Rob, as you know, I too like to play around with faces sometimes though my technique and skill does not measure up to yours...however, the point I want to make is that sometimes my playing around has absolutely no particular purpose in mind, it is strictly a random creation, while other times, I really am striving to inject some emotion into the image and I would guess the same is with you...in this image I definitely detect a feeling or mood...I don't quite see the deep despair or tragedy that others seem to see though I do see 'some' sadness and a quiet humility like a hooded monk who quietly goes about his business...and perhaps a person who is thinking about something, uncertain and hesitant about what to do or whether to move forward...anyhow, that's what I see in this and think it's a great manip that moves people to reflect on.
