I didn't think I liked this kind of photography, but I have to say you have completely converted me! It is just so interesting the emotion that you are able to convey.
This woman looks to me like a combination of sadness and anger. The lip curling slightly upward suggests anger to me (seen even more clearly when enlarged). The black hood suggesting mourning. Perhaps it is the portrait of someone who has lost a loved one through an unnecessary tragedy or act of violence.
