The story here is that Royalty has lost her place in Life and is now just as common as the rest of us.

Fine work rob.

Anyone who plays a street organ is already a great guy, as far as I'm concerned. The instrument brings joy to young and old alike. Much like today's post for me. She looks almost Elizabethan and the addition/inclusion of Rotterdam gives this image a physical location. I'm happy for your encounter with Mr. Roos and I look forward to seeing what else you may have found in his warehouse. Bravo Rob!

---story to be continued with the next posting---

Rob, I've read your narrative with very much interest and have viewed your splendid creation with even more interest. Perfect in all ways.

I'm very curious what your next posting will bring. On the one hand it's almost impossible that it will be better than this one, but on the other hand, and referring to this splendid image: 'noblesse oblige', lol.

Regards, Cornelius.

I like it very much, Rob...first thought was that she reminds me a little of Mona Lisa, such expressive eyes, and one can't help but notice the stark contrast of beauty and decay, and the sense of nobility fallen...a fave for me and look forward to other works since meeting that interesting fellow.
