Has an Orwellian feel to it.

Well composed. Visually intriguing. Is that a waste pipe where the mouth would be? Wonderful texture and rich color.

It's a steel grip/handle Lisa for those of us who think we have a grip on death.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

Fantastic, dramatic and original. I agree with Lisa, this has an Orwellian feel. The textures and blending of colors is superb. Favorite.

---I can see you---

Although this 'character' tries to be incognito, I can see it (can't determine whether it's a male or female) as well, Rob.
A intriguing 'portrait', my friend. Hope however that this isn't a new trend in portrait photography, ☺ .
A contemporary master piece!

It makes me feel uncomfortable - and I see that as a good thing.
It has immediate impact and leaves a lots of unanswered questions to be pondered upon.
Super-duper Rob

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

It almost looks like he's using a snorkel to breath through the red film over his face. My art department head professor (who I just recently re-connected with after 37 years) would say this was definitely a piece of modern art.
