Abraham Lincoln, President The Commons I claim no rights to this image other than I colorized it. Did do some restoration to the image took out the major eyesores dings and scratches tried to leave alone as much as possible. Went for a natural skin and eye (blue grey) color. The suit and vest black of course. The color photo almost looks like a different photo mainly because he does not look as forlorn. The light and color offers a different expression on his face. This is an amazing transformation of this photo which I have seen before , outstanding work !!..Fav.

This works well as a before and after example. Not to get too political but why can't we have presidents today like we did back then? I mean real presidents we can be proud of?
