Your work is inspiring, and unique. The colorization perfect, it's a true opportunity when viewing these photos to understand the mindset at that time. Bravo.

You have a great talent Rob.
These photos you colourize are being given an extra aspect that could not have been dreamed of when the original was created.
This subject was indeed very beautiful.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Wow! Our Miss Shattuck was a real looker, wasn't she, and this dress must have been considered quite risque for the beginning of the 20th Century. Bare shoulders and lace-covered arms. Today women seem to be over-preoccupied with rings stuck through their flesh, on their faces, so much they look like they're half-android, or tattoos everywhere. I saw one at the airport terminal earlier this week whose entire back was covered (I first thought it was a shawl). Even my daughter-in-law's favorite thing to do is get a tat, one just before the wedding of a rose branch that went from her butt (she told me... I didn't look) to her shoulder, and every woman in her wedding party had similar monstrosities. This young lady you've chosen to treat us with is so elegant and beautiful without all that, not even eye shadow. (Sigh) I was born in the wrong age. Thank you for treating us with these (almost) lost treasures. From someone who is only a year retired from a 33+ year career in history, I can say with authority these submissions of yours are outstanding and a breath of fresh air... just like miss Shattuck.
