Amazingly, following the part of your post that involves the artist, the man who took this photo is Stanley Kubrick, the same Stanley Kubrick who later went on to direct, among others, popular films like "Spartacus", "Dr. Strangelove", and "2001: A Space Odyssey". He was working as a photographer for LOOK Magazine when he shot this photo. So, Rob, did you think maybe no one reads your detailed posts? :o)

Rob - Kubrick started his professional photography at the young age of 18 working for Look Magazine. Four years later, in 1950, he left the magazine to begin his film career.

Of course, another excellent colorization.

In contrary with the original B&W one, I can feel the heat now, Rob!
Makes clear to me perfectly as well what colorization (done in the way by you) can do with an image.
Great work again, my friend. Kudos!!
