Rob, this high class lady is very handsome, but hasn't a friendly appearance to me, because the lack of a smile on her face. Even your perfect colorization wasn't able to change this situation. Could be that she preferred dignity above a friendly appearance while posing. If so, your editing has enhanced her dignity anyhow.

I pulled a copy of this one to study, as I did with Vesta/Vista, but there isn't anything distinguishing about her, other than her clothing and jewelry, down to the unique hat pin. As C. says, she's elegant and refined, and the high-quality clothing and lack of a smile, to me, indicates a woman of a societal position higher than the norm. It also appears that the image is flopped for some reason; the number at the top is reversed.
