I couldn't get it full screen for some reason Rob. It looks good in the thumbnail. Brown was a good choice. Maybe the fellows in the background were getting ready for a game of horseshoes and Les was hammering out some for them.
Another good colorization.

In the early 1900s, here in the small towns of North Dakota, a videographer by the name of Frithjof Holmboe visited town after town, announcing ahead of time that he'd be filming on a particular day. Still and moving pictures were still a great novelty and people would pour into town, dressed in their finest, to appear in a Holmboe production. (If you view the linked video of Holmboe's visit to tiny Wilton, ND, mute your sound to eliminate an annoying film stutter. You'll notice street scenes with unnaturally large crowds of people, many stopping to stare at the camera.) I'm guessing that sort of attitude was prevalent everywhere, and that's what I believe prompted the gentlemen in the background to pose as they are.
