Or, maybe it is the sad clown's reflection being seen in the window. Maybe the other two scenes, the room and the bicycle, are but memories of the clown, fond or not. Maybe the reflection is not just of a sad clown but is the person's self-image. The composition is well blended and laden with deep meanings.
Very cool, Rob...an intriguing composition open to various interpretations, loaded with emotion, and with the limited tones I think it would nicely satisfy the current monochromatic contest theme...faved.
Hey Rob. This is so mysterious and creative. But.......I have to say I don't think the car and building scene in the top left corner really fits here IMHO:):) Everything else is highly spooky and fabulous!!
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Upon seeing the clown's white iris eyes, my first thought was, "zombie mime apocalypse"!
(Screams! Boards up door!)
No matter how one interprets it, it is a disquieting image, Rob. You did a masterful job of creating an image of open portrayal storytelling and evoking a viewer emotional response.
Great blending job.
