The pink really gives it a springtime feel Rob. It seems this would have been an unusual pose for the day. The photographer must have been progressive and her family must have had some money.

"Catherine? Cathy? Miss Schwarz? Would you please turn your head... and look at me? I'm wondering who it was that gave you that beautiful flower in your hair, matching the color of the blouse I gave you for Valentine's Day. Hmmm? Catherine?"

"Rob? And that's all you're going to say?"

"Miss Schwarz!"

An unusual style of portraying, Rob, but very fine.
I agree with Tick that the by you chosen colorization gives the viewer a springtime feeling.
