"One day they will have machinery to do all this work son. I had a vision there will be enormous round bales of hay being spit out by a giant machine in the future. Until then, go get the horses hitched up to the wagon, grab your brothers, a few pitch forks and get it to the barn before the government takes it away from us."
Excellent shot and colorization of things and people past Rob.

Tick said it so well, and we can only use our interpretation of the moment so long ago. Wonderful work with your technique here my friend.

I instantly had a vision of many years later, the boy full grown about the father age in the same pose with his son. This is a powerful photo to say the least.

The colorization adds much to this capture. Simple but powerful. I would like to think that we have not lost the genuine essence of the strength of the common man, which this photo seems to embrace. Your photos are bringing us an important view of the past, we should never forget.

Rob, the original B&W image exudes perfectly the atmosphere of days long gone by. To me it's a real time-document. Your perfect way of colorization (subtle and not overdone) enhances this mood. It tells more than a book or more than thousand words.
Excellent work again. S+F instantly. Thanks for that, my friend!

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
