They look pretty stylish strolling down that street. Notice the shoes on both. Super job on the tint.

Well, my first thought was the same as those above, here is a couple of 'snappy' dressers...and it's interesting to see the styles of days gone by...your subtle coloring works perfectly here.

Rob, your perfect colorization has made me suppose that the lady may have had a very good taste because of the well chosen color of her fancy dress. I realize however that it's not her choice, but yours, ☺ . Makes me curious about the real colors of the dress in that time. Wouldn't amaze if it would have the same.
Very good choice and very well done again, my friend!

I really like this, but it appears to me that you have only applied the colorization process on the woman? Looks great!

The Atlas Tack Corporation was founded in 1810, in Fairhaven, Massachusetts, where a partner of John D. Rockefeller took a paternalistic financial interest in the company for sentimental reasons--it was located in his New England hometown. Atlas Tack was one of the nation's largest manufacturers of tacks, nails, bottle caps and other small hardware. Judging by this "Al Capone Wannabe" fellow's outfit, although this image was published in 1940 by the Office of War Information, it must have been taken a little earlier than the publication date. Both windows this couple are walking by contain nothing but a rack of lapel pins and a placard announcing a new device. Even after downloading the 25 MB Tiff copy of the original from the Library of Congress, all I can see is the word "NEW" and an image of a thumb and a couple fingers of a hand turning something round, about the size of a medium chicken's egg. Beyond that, there isn't a lot more than can be said about the scene, other than she's pretty dishy in that purple outfit and that long "simple fur" stole... but we can thank Rob for that. The man, however, looks a little upset that he pales in comparison, despite trying to dress dapper.
