Rob, I've checked-out the link and saw only little differences between the two original B & W portraits. I see that you've chosen the portrait on the right for the colorization process.
Where the two B & W portraits show only minor differences, it's completely different for the by you perfectly colorized portrait, when compared with the original B&W version.
In fact, you have brought the Bisharin girl back to life again. It's remarkable to me as well that you always find the proper color scheme. If one didn't know better, one might think that you had a colored portrait at your disposal, ☺ . If I had to do such a job, it certainly would have been a 'mission impossible'.
It proves once again that you're a very talented artist in the field of this art. Kudos, my friend!

Cornelius gave a great comment.
She looks so natural in her new colours - fine work Rob. I wonder if that is a cotton bale behind her

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Your colorization adds so much to this scene, your senses seem to be fine tuned.

The Bisharin are of the Sufi branch of Islam and live in the eastern part of the Nubian Desert in Sudan and southern Egypt. They reside between the Nubian desert and the Nile valley, an area of limestone, mountains, with sandstone plateaus, as can be derived from the dry aspect of this photo. Recently, when a mosque in Egypt's Sinai region was attacked by affiliates of the Islamic State armed group, in November of 2017, leaving over 300 people dead, the attackers said they were targeting what they described as 'heretics of Islam', known to the wider world as Sufis. Starting in the 1800s, those studying Sufism often sought something that didn't resemble the strict interpretation of Islam, but instead included some elements closer to Christianity. As to our young model, the scars on her cheeks are nearly identical and may be ritualist in nature, but I have to wonder what event caused that nasty scar over her right eye. What also draws my eye here, besides the excellent colorization I've come to expect from you, Rob, is the level of handiwork: the homespun cloth of her outer garment, the fine braids in her hair, the hanging threads of her amulet, or the myriad weavings of the home behind her. Truly the combination of artistry and the time to perfect it.
