Rob, I can imagine a prettier situation rather than living in a boarding house with little or no privacy. See by the look on the faces on these ladies, that they aren't that enthusiastic, but that they accept this in a resigned way. Your perfect way of colorization doesn't change that. You may you've given us some color in their lives now, but think that in that era their life was pretty colorless as depicted on the original B&W photograph.
