Rob, the original B&W photograph (35mm nitrate negative) is one of a series of photographs taken by Ben Shahn during the 'great depression'.
This one shows a, in 1935 taken portrait, of an unknown inhabitant of the almost deserted small mining town of Zinc (eastern Boone County), Arkansas.
By your perfect way of colorization and to show the result on Caedes, you prevent that this piece of American history is falling into oblivion. Compliments for that, my friend!

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Do know Ben Shahn and his work checked out your Link though and came across 2 pictures that I had missed so downloaded them to be colorized at a later date so thank you for the time and work that you invested much appreciated.

A wonderful colorization. Zinc remains a poor town, with few people inhabiting it. Unfortunately, it is home to a Ku Klux Clan chapter of which they express great pride.
