So natural again, Rob. Perfect colorization without fringes so that one can recognize instantly the hardship that mother and child have to deal with.
See by the smile on her face, that this mother is still positive.
Although the original B&W photograph is taken a long time ago, I still admire her courage and perseverance.
A valuable addition to your wonderful series, my friend!

Hands tell no lies - these are of a hard working woman living in poverty. Distracted from the photographer, something has brought a smile to her face. Excellent colorization work!

At least she has put on a smile. Some folks have worked so hard and she must have been one of them. Good work.

She looks as though life has not been easy but she still can smile and her child appears content. Beautifully brought to life Rob

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

A very unique and human pair you have for us, Rob, the sort of down-to-earth types that make up the vast majority of us. The genuine smile on the mother is reassuring in that it makes me believe she can and did give her child a decent upbringing, without undue duress from financial concerns... her child was more important than her cash flow. The doll, however, I think I have seen in at least seven different horror films.
