They look happy to be dressed in color Rob. Grandpa Biscoe would be proud.
The photographer, John Collier Jr., did pretty good for himself for a man with a third grade education. An accident early in his life left him with some learning disabilities. Check him out of Wikipedia if you feel so inclined.
Super work yet again.

Rob, referring to Tick's comment above, here's the link to read the complete story of the anthropologist and photographer John Collier Jr. (May 22, 1913 - February 25, 1992).
Probably not meant by the photographer, but to me it's a precious and timeless shot of happy children, emphasized by you usual perfectly done colorization work. Great job again!

This scene is remarkable both for the expressions captured on the children, but really, I don't know how you do it, the colors are absolutely reminiscent of the times.. these scenes speak volumes. Favorite.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
