Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

Lovely work. I especially like that beautiful sky. It gives the image a strange, almost other-worldly feel as well which I rather like. It makes me think of Marion Zimmer Bradley's planet Darkover, although these would definitely be hills in that world and perhaps not attract the same name.
I am honoured to be listed as a friend or to see an image of mine as a favourite, but I keep lists of neither. This helps me appreciate images uploaded by strangers as well as friends. Please understand that a failure to reciprocate in kind indicates a lack of appreciation for neither gesture nor work.
I was about to say that - the sky is particularly special in this one, though the trees are impressive too - it's not easy to keep them from looking fake.
i like the whole image, but the stars need to be a little less obvious, they make the image look less realistic--almost like less cg more photoshop, but it is a beautiful image, regardless of my two cents!
