This one charged me and guess who flinched... I must've touched part of it's web - or it actually saw me and in a flash it was racing for the front of the lens. So I gave it a little space. This shot was during the 5 to 10 seconds it was checking out the edge of the neighborhood. Then it went under a leaf and made it's way back to the hideout. For the curious, I estimate this one is about 1/4" to 3/8" long.

The title is very accurate....
I'm still shaking like a leave!!!! This is a very lively pic of that spider. It took me a while to gather enough currage to come back to my pc and check that it really is just a photo.
Fantastic shot even in the little tie you had to make it.
