Just had this in the VB and knew it was yours. Cause I know nobody else who can scare the wits out of me better than you and your spider shots!
It's an excellent macro shot with great clarity and colors! I can even see the color of his eyes...
I know what I will dream of tonight...

Is this a jumping spider? We get lots of these around our houses and they are just fun to watch. Great capture, by the way!!!

Awesome macro of this bold jumper. The detail and color is very good. What lens did you use for this one?

I must say, my honest opinion is this is totally disgusting. I have the most irrational fear of spiders, and even LOOKING at this makes my toes curl up in my shoes... :-) That being said - you've captured it quite well & kudos for capturing the shot. I'd say "thanks for sharing" but I'm not completely sure I mean it! LOL :-)

Thanks for the comments everyone. If we didn't have predators like these, we'd be hip deep in even more disgusting bugs - everything is balance. I don't find spiders very beautiful either and some are downright gruesome, but these jumpers are amazing to watch and very difficult to photograph.

Great shot of a Jumping Spider. I take pictures of spiders too. I need a better camera to take pictures like yours.
