A delicate pink meadow flower about the size & shape of half an eggshell. Something, probably caterpillars, finds them delicious and eat only the upper third of the petals, in a straight line. It looks like someone took scissors and snipped away the top of the flowers. The untouched ones are very lovely though. Shot hand held with the Canon 100mm IS Macro lens & a ring flash for fill light. Bright afternoon sunlight is causing the faint shadows on the back of the flower, but the strobe dominates at short range.
