Magnolia's are an ancient line of flowering plants that predate bees. Instead, they evolved to be pollinated by beetles & have a tougher structure to cope with them. This tree was tagged as a Merrill Magnolia, but it doesn't look like other examples I've been able to find. And although I don't like to use borders now, width needed to be added for the image to have a 16:9 aspect ratio. Live and learn.

Beautiful color Russ and I do like how you handled the two-toned border picking up the light and dark pinks. Looking forward to seeing more.

Thank you, everyone, for the nice comments. It's good to know my taste hasn't gone completely off the rails. If three gorgeous & charming ladies say it's good, it's good.
