I like weirdness of any sort and this fits the bill perfectly !

Looks good on my iPad, Russ -- I love how this came out. The planet sails majestically across the sky, pulling close its cloak of clouds. The sun casts silver across a spectrum of hues from sunset orange to cherry starglow... and not a single god ray required. ;-)

Thank you all very much. I'm very pleased you enjoyed it.

I've always wondered how Terragen 2 would render two suns over a complicated landscape. This picture needed multiple hi-rez renders, in addition to dozens of small test ones. Luckily, the program can do patch rendering, so corrections can be made without having to re-render the whole image.
