This Castle Aaaaaaargh situated in Scotland is known from the movie of monty Python and the quest of the holy grale. We found it on the way to Fort william by accident during a fantastic holiday in Scotland. The real name of the castle is STALKER.

But it will always be Castle Aaaaaaargh to me, lol. Interesting capture of the building though. I like how it gives the feel of peering through the brush to get a glimpse. The landscape beyond never quite looked so beautiful in Monty Python, I'm afraid. Excellent job!

It's so odd how we marvel at grandeur gone to rubble, but somehow the magic of a castle in ruins is beautiful. What a lovely photo, great work..............Amaris

I love the way you have framed this as though your staking out the place from behind the bushes :) This reminds me of something stupid I did just before my wedding. I decided that to suprise my hubbie, I would see if we could rent a castle on a loch for our honeymoon. It was all the rage at the time. I picked a nice secluded one and went to see our local travel agent to see if he could arrange it........ he looked at the pic I gave him, then stifled a laugh and asked me to come back later on.

Seems the castle I had picked was a total ruin and had not been inhabited for years lol and was totally out the question...... good job I never mentioned it to Al lol

Hello Nick....The Castle's almost exaggeratedly picturesque appearance, with its island setting against a backdrop of mountains, has made it a favourite....Well done....All the best....Mick.

I saw parts of that movie once, but I didn't remember that. Great capture!
