I love this picture and cannot even say why. Perhaps it is the lavender, or maybe the delicate butterfly, or maybe the composition. I don't know. But it's a wonderful way to start your new camera. Do let us see what else comes out of it!

Oh, now I know what it is I love about this picture: the MOOD.

That, of course, is the key ingredient in any image, if it aims to be artistic instead of just prosaic and pedestrian.

I have to edit, that this butterlfly wasn't just sitting here, but he just started to fly away. I was lucky to catch him like this.
