The Highest mountain of Great Britain, In Scotland (where else? ;) ). Fact: you can see the top just 5 days a year, because of the surrounding clouds, so if you get to see him, take a picture and beware that you're lucky. lol Like you can see, the weather wasn't bad at all when I took this one, but the clouds were to strong :( Enjoy!

Hi Nick,
This one is great, I like how those clouds aren't as high in the air as that mountain.

Thanks for sharing

Ben Nevis is such a stunning mountain, I live in the shadow of Snowdon ( highest mountain in Wales and england.)

I went to Ben Nevis with my Grandad in the late 70's but sadly we could only wander the lower parts as the higher parts were closed to people who were not climbers or experienced. I have always wanted to go back there, and this pic has fulfilled my wishes. Such a scenic country Scotland. ( I married a Scot lol cant you tell)

Hello Nick.....This is a nice picture of Ben Nevis....The cloud on the summit is a common sight...When I was in the armed services we climbed this old boy, mind you, I was so much younger then...Well Done...All the best....Mick.

Hi Nick,

What a superb photograph of the Ben Nevis. Three years it was suffered I
there also in the surroundings. We want also the mount on. But it rained then this way hard that we have not done it. And did not have the possibility later of going.

Hi Nick,
The shot of Ben Nevis itself is wonderful - stately, dramatic and moody, just everything a good Scottish mountain should be - but for me the overall effect is diminished by the blurry branches (gorse?) in the foreground, particularly top right. Apart from these, it is a splendid shot.
Kevin.

Great shot Nick, I`m off on a camping tour in the Highlands in two weeks and will be camping quite near the bottom of Ben Nevis. If I get the shot without cloud I will definetly post and give you a shout.

Ian :)
