Sorry to hear of the heavy rains and flooding. You've done a great capture capturing the mood during a bit of a tough time...you can see the children trying to make the best of it. Nice job!!

Hi Sayed
Sorry 2 hear u had a hard time it's very similar over here in the UK at the moment, believe it or not.
Looking at this picture it concerns me that the ferryman could get fried by the overhead electric pylons!! :-(

Oh my goodness. Looks like there is no where for the water to go. That had to be lots and lots of rain! Could use some of that rain here, Sayed. Too bad we don't have any say in the weather. The shot really tells a very dramatic story. Hope you are keeping the camera dry!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Oh you have my sympathies, as Phil mentioned the UK has had some flooding. You have captured the amazing spirit of the people there. Keep safe and well.

Poland suffered from a terrible flood ten years ago. Many cities were destroyed and renewing them took many years - some works continue even now. This photo is very important - makes you think about natural disasters that often cannot be foreseen.

Looks like you guys are fairly well equipped to deal with this and I too hope that all turned out better than it looks on this photo. By the way, this is a very compelling picture, and it is one that I am glad you sent to us. PJ

That's scary...I love rain, but not to the point that I'm swimming in it :O This shot...it tells alot about how life carries on 'through the wind and the rain'. Great angle (again!) ..you really know where to emphasize your focus. Nice composition :)
