The title belonging to my own language we use here in Kerala(South India)and the translation of the word is Grandpa's beard. This is a seed of a plant known as PAPPUS. Some of the pappus functioning as parachute which enables the seed to be conveyed by the wind, and I found this one from my rooftop garden.

Beautiful close up, very unusual plant and interesting, too. Thanks for the nice story.

The fact that you found it in your roof garden shows that the "beard" is doing its job well. Nice, funny shot Sayed.
