Another photo by nephew Mark Pietras, on a trip to China. A few seconds after the shot, a snow squall obscured the view. This is the original photo. Please also take a look at edited version #2. We are interested in seeing which is preferred, and why. Thanks.

I prefer this version - the second one seams over sharpened slightly and the highlights in the sky blown out too much this one is a lot more natural and pleasing to the eye and is a good shot in its own right. maybe a compromise of the two may work with 50% of the correction added to this instead of the whole thing.

I`ve had a look at the both and prefer this one but it`s like 48% - 52%. I think it is a wonderful picture.

I prefer this one- the 2 trees here are wonderful as an "entrance" to the wall and also coincide with the 2 smaller trees just below.

This one is better given the overall color. Normally I like them sharper but it's hard to do with a photo like this. Nice picture.

There's an old saying in Tennessee -- I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee -- that says, fool me once, shame on -- shame on you. Fool me -- you can't get fooled again.
