The Bell inn — which as far as i know some parts date back to the 15th century. the old road between Norwich & London use to run between the hotel & what is now the thomas cook travel agency.As far as i know one of the bedrooms on this side of the hotel (the part round the corner is a lot newer) is supposed to be haunted. St peter `s is also right across the street.

Just when I think I've found something interesting and old here in the USA, you guys come up with something that has been repaired probably more times than the years on the oldest building I've ever seen around here..lol..great write up, I agree, on the history of this place, and I really like the composition here, as you've placed the building on a unique angle :)PJ
