Yes it is rather disorienting, even after I knew what it was... looks more like a drawing or similar than a photo. Rather different for you.

Yeah, I agree have you put a texture on the photo because it looks more like a painting of some kind rather than a photo.
But the composition of the photo is good the way the background is blurred and all your attention is drawn to the droplet.

Strange...this was on the main caedes page, and I am looking at this, and I'm afraid I don't get it either. It's like the bottom brown part is blah and nothing in particular. I think if you did a different thing at the bottom, maybe it would truly bring out the beauty of the water drop? I love the idea...or don't I get it because I'm blonde??!!...........yikes...Verena
