What a striking and dramatic image. You have made the most of those clouds and the wide-angle look of the framing is well chosen. Great work!

Sam - What a dramatic photo. It this scene all natural?? I have never seen natural light so close to pure monochrome. The combination of washed out color and almost animation -like detail is visually arresting. Bravo !!!!

Looks like a huge building site, so many cranes.... at least this is what I noticed. Great photo, so dramatic due to the heavy clouds and dark setting. Great weather conditions!

Very striking. The contrast in the light is amazing and the clouds add a very anxious, brooding feel to it.

I have two pictures in my favorites, including this stunning photo. I actually stoped and said "wow" out loud at work when I saw the picture. It looks as though it may have been touched or unreal due to the lighting and clear, sharp stillness. Unbelievable pic!

The sky does indeed look angry - the menacing look of the city reminds me a lot of Gotham City, from the Batman movies.

I thought this was a painting when I first saw it. Has a 'other worldly' feel - and a dark mood with that angry appearing sky. The panorama is well used, and shows quite abit. Thanks for showing me London from a ferris wheel :*>

My gosh London has changed since I was there so many many years ago! Look at all the tall cranes preparing to build more buildings. Wow. This is an outstanding photo. I had not seen it before. It was on the front page...nicely done, outstanding. Love the drama in the sky hovering over this city. Verena
