We went up to Mt Rainier Nat'l park today, and on our walk to Box Canyon I saw some trees that had died and turned gray. I thought this setting would be pretty in black & white, so there ya go. Thanks for looking & I hope you enjoy it too!

Mt Rainier?...Surprised you havent 'Bumped' into Jerry (Digi Cam Man?)....he always out tramping them hills!
I like the effect you have given to this!.......It's always good to look at....B&W can be relied on to give some dramatic photography............

The black and white was really the only choice here, wasn't it? You composed this shot fairly well, trying to bring out the diagonals. I like that. I think though that it would have been better if you'd been a lot closer to the fence. It would have allowed you to eliminate the distracting foreground shadow, and bring out more detail in the wood of the fence which gets a bit lost here. Sometimes less is more, if you know what I mean.
