Nothing beats the magic of nature itself... makes my mind trip out to think that something this gorgeous and impossible is endlessly swirling and spinning, millions and millions of light years away from us. It gives me a sense of how incredibly huge the universe is, and yet, we spend our days worrying about affairs that are absolutly tiny in the grand sceme of things.

That is just awesome. I agree, it kind of calms you and lets your mind off issues when you think of the vastness of space. They approximate that there are around 200 billion galaxies in the universe. Of I'm not sure if that figure represents the ones we see but may not exist anymore since they're so far away or the ones they suspect probably are still living.
