This is a pic out of the bin that I have always liked but never got around to really exploring the possibilities with it. A few days ago I thought it would be a good subject for a new piece of software (Akvis) I had downloaded. Barriten suggested I try Akvis for use as a sketching program and this was my second attempt with it (which is on a free trial download). My result improved after I found the "Advanced" button! I liked the way the background was flattened and muted with this program. It was important to me that it leave the evidence of strong late afternoon light alone, which it did. However, as barriten warned me, the result after the render was little desaturated, which I fixed. It could be better to boost the saturation before the render. Thanks for coming to take a look!
