I learned a lot with this pic, hence the title. The first thing I learned is that when you wake up at 4:00AM on the day the time changes to Standard, it is NOT a great idea to jump out of bed and run to the computer just because you have a neat idea for a Crepe Myrtle pic in the bin. The second thing I learned is that something like this is going to take a LONG time. For me, anyway. Thirteen hours later I decided I must have learned a lot, not much of which I can remember at the moment...hence the title. (I mean, who remembers their "education" anyway?) Crepe Myrtles remind me of ballet dancers, and I wanted to do something that would show the grace of their structure and enjoy myself at the same time with tons and tons of color. As you can guess, this took endless cutting, particularly tiresome on the 3rd and 4th versions! Thanks for coming to take a look...and suggestions are welcome!

This is very artistic and stunning looking plant tree, that I have never seen before and as you say it as a beautiful structure and you captured it spot on with nice art with the colours too.
