This is the entrance to the Salem Church Branch of the Central Rappahannock Regional Library in Spotsylvania County, Virginia. I have always loved the architecture of this place, but I could not do it justice, not even with my far-reaching Canon SX50...so I concentrated on just the entry. This pic began in color which I converted to black-and-white...and then put it through a Topaz filter. I really liked the outcome...hope you do too! Thanks for coming to take a look.

Lovely art work and love the effect you add to this post and the detail is stunning and B&W white sure bring up the detail in these buildings so nicely.

The architecture looks like an homage to Frank Lloyd Wright, sort of a combination between a light art deco and moderne, and your result reminds me of architect's renderings I've seen from the 30's and 40's. Cool. -Nik

Looks very much like the watercolors architects (used to) do to show a client what the building would look like when it was completed. I like it.
