This is a typical scene in rural Spotsylvania County, Virginia...contented cows, rolling pasture, curving roads, and a sense of "All's Well Today". Taken somewhat before sunset, because I liked the shadows and the highlights on the fence posts. (Besides, the cows might move out of that handy corner if I waited for the sun to drop lower). Thanks for coming to take a look.

You forgot to mention all the methane, Sharon. 8P Juuuuust foolin.' It is a very peaceful bucolic scene. Here in the Dakotas, cattle will cluster in pasture corners for two reasons; sleep or shelter from an approaching storm. I'm guessing that's a universal thing with cows (I grew up working on a ranch). This pasture must be used for livestock other than just cows, though. Goats, sheep and lambs can sometimes slip through 3- or even 4- strand barbed wire fences. Looking close here I see a woven wire fence in the bottom 3/4. -Nik

Cows are good, light is perfect, road is sweetly curving somewhere near the horizon and I love the slope where cows are grazing. HOWGH.

Very good depth of field in this photo and the detail,light and colours are superb .Plus stunning looking sky as well, along with the composition that is spot on my friend.
